Firenze Jazz Festival 2023
From 5 to 15 September
The Firenze Jazz Festival returns from 5 to 10 September and from 12 to 15 September for a total of 35 live events and 12 days of concerts.
Must-see events include performances by Enrico Rava, the internationally renowned trumpeter, the wonderful Norwegian guitarist Hedvig Mollestad Thomassen, and one of the most famous drummers in the world, the American Jeff Ballard.
After the limitations of pandemic conditions over the past few years, Firenze Jazz Festival has prepared a magnificent comeback that welcomes international Jazz celebrities and rising stars to Florence with a large public ready to enjoy live performances by famous musicians.
The concert locations for Firenze Jazz Festival 2023 are, as always, set in the most sensational villas and spaces throughout Florence. Among them are the Forte Belvedere, the Limonaia di Villa Strozzi, Villa Bardini, the memorable stages of Piazza del Carmine in Oltrarno with the spectacular Zattera sull’Arno opposite, and Ponte Vecchio hosting solo artists.
Residence Hilda is located in a strategic position with direct access to all these events: in the heart of the historic city center of Florence, just a 5-minute walk from the Duomo and close to public transportation reaching all the concert venues.
